Here is something I've be working on.
In Our bead shop we sell lava beads and lots of them, a friend ( Emma Baird well know lampwork artist and Senior Art Clay Instructor ) told me that you could paste art clay silver onto the lava bead and then fire it in the kiln.
So what did I do? I had a ago. This is how my beads turned out I really like them.

Ooooooh I just found this in your posts and I bought some lava beads last week without realising this was a possibility........ will have to try it now :)

what temperature did you fire in the kiln?
